The Yes Man in Drogheda Arts Centre

The Aisteoiri na Boinne Drama Group is staging one of my lesser-known three-act comedies, ‘The Yes Man’ in the Drogheda Arts Centre from Tuesday, February 7th to Saturday, February 11th.
‘The Yes Man’ started life as a one-act comedy called ‘A Night To Remember’ written as far back as 1997. There was a great reaction to the play, but it was difficult finding a market for a one-act, so I decided to turn it into a two-act, but eventually I felt a three-act would work better. So, I turned it into a three-act and retitled it ‘The Yes Man’. What was the original one-act now forms – with a few changes – Act 3 of rewritten play.
It was staged for the one and only time in Gurteen, Co. Sligo in 2003 if memory serves me correctly.
