New Play

I have started writing a new play. I can’t believe it myself as I’ve already written one play this year. I hadn’t planned to start another play until next January, but the urge was too great.
It’s provisionally titled ‘The Woman You Want’, but that’s really only a name for the file on the computer. The idea has been going around in my mind for the past few months.
The main character is a widowed farmer called Gerry O’ Malley, who lives on his own. His daughter, Eleanor has arranged for a woman, Dorrie Sinnott to come in once a week to clean for him. Dorrie is a widow.
And there you have it. We’ll have to see what develops. I’ll keep you posted. Wish me luck.
