New Play Started

I’ve just started writing a new three-act comedy, my sixteenth since 1999.
It’s provisionally called ‘Love Knots’ but I’m beginning to like that title more and more.
Although, I only started writing the play last Monday, it has been developing in my mind since last August. A lot of the dialogue and the early scenes have already been written in my mind and now it’s just a matter of getting them onto my laptop.
The play will tell of farmer Larry Casey’s tortuous struggle to find love. When the play opens, he already has a girlfriend, the somewhat reserved and staid librarian, Fidelma Power. But will it last?
I already have Act 1: Scene 1 completed, although I’m sure I’ll make further changes to it down the line..
